[Action | Raithwall's Tomb | One Week Ago]
[So he really couldn't help himself. There had been some strange book on the table and Ceodore picked it up to see what it was. He thought it might be a gift from Ursula or something. Next thing he knew, there was a glaring light and then Outside Burning Sun. He's gotten used to the sun over the last few months he and Ursula spent governing the Skysea but this feels much hotter and intense.
He holds a hand up to shade his eyes so he can see and what he makes out is familiar. The tomb where Ursula arrived on Gaia. But why in the world is he here? Makes no sense at all. For a moment he suspects another bout with Memoria but that doesn't feel right either. He's alone, and definitely not experiencing a memory. Weird. These things weren't supposed to happen anymore. Not since they settled the Garland/Chaos problem months ago.
He reaches in his pocket for his skyphone to call Ursula first, then his parents. Mother will fret herself sick if she thinks he's gone missing. It's not working. Great. Off in some obscure part of the continent, phone is busted, not a moogle in sight.
Inside the tomb really isn't the best place to get out of the sun, but it's miserable cooking in one's own armor, so he turns to seek out the shelter of the derelict castle at the opposite end of the valley... only to find nothing more than an earthen corridor.]
Hey what gives?
[At this point though, shade is shelter and deserts are really hot. So Ceodore makes quickly for the narrow path into the rock. He follows it for a while until it opens up into what almost looks like a beach. Or it would if there weren't some sort of liquid sand spreading out to the horizon.]
Whoa...
