[Action | Goug | OTA]
[It hasn't taken Gippal long at all to fall in with the moogles living in Goug. A little talky talky with one about how a moogling operates, some futzing with the video spheres he brought with him from Spira, and bam! Instant friends with some of the local tinkers who were on their way back to the moogle hometown of mechanical innovation.
No really. There are moogles everywhere.
Most of the fuzzballs are just mechanics and tinkers. Almost none of them have combat experience and there's always some excitement around when they manage to hire on some bodyguards so they can take a dive into old mines for ancient machinery. Gotta be better than digging in a desert. They're lucky to have found the Al Bhed, even if he's as much of a punk as they are gil grubbing. He can handle himself in a fight and fix machines they didn't think would ever start running.]
[Early on in the morning, he'll be out and about in the town, looking for a few spare parts for this project he's already taken on. And a license to use the gun he just built for himself.
The rest of the day, he'll be hauled up in one of the innumerable workshops, fussing with a tiny device that some people might recognize as a phone. He doesn't know what the hell this thing is but the moogles are sure excited by it. Gippal's pretty damned excited about it too, if only to figure out how it works and if he can make it better. Of course he can make it better. He's staring pretty intently at one of the video spheres, a hunk of blue crystals the moogles dubbed "magicite" and this "phone" thing. It sorta reminds him of that Shinra's commspheres. Shame he doesn't have one of those right now.]
